A striking multistorey car park for Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter.
The Multistorey Car Park sits within Paddington Village, the centre of the Liverpool Knowledge Quarter. This redevelopment led by Liverpool City Council created the briefing and design principles for a MSCP and CHP Energy Centre.
The Williamson’s Tunnels’ cultural and historic significance serves as a parti for the design principle of the proposal’s building form and cladding solution. The car park also draws inspiration from innovative car parking & energy facilities locally and abroad. The Paddington Village Car Park is a new signature building weaving together the historic culture of the area and its new innovative future.
